Our Mission

Lucky Leash was founded on the desire to be successful by providing a professional, reliable, and well organized Pet Sitting Service that enables the client to have a worry-free experience while at the same time, allowing their pets to remain in the comfort of their own home.

We are proud to be Owner-Operated, and based out of the Silver Lake area.

Us

We are the two "Lucky Leash Ladies", and have been happily running our own Pet Sitting business since July 2008!  We decided to go into Pet Sitting after growing ever weary of the old grind, and desiring a career that didn't involve the Friday count down.  We both love our pets so much, but sometimes felt bound to our home by their needs.  We knew we couldn't be the only vacation-starved, guilty feeling, pet owners out there, so we decided to venture into Pet-Sitting...and Lucky Leash was born!

We both run Lucky Leash full-time, and as this is our only "job", we do not take it lightly.  We will show up every time, rain or shine!

Our Pets

This is Sam!

We rescued him from 11th Hour Rescue, in Issaquah.  He is a sweetheart, a clown, and always ready for action!

He likes to ride along for visits when he can, but does get a little jealous when he sees us with other pups!

This is Twisty!

We adopted him, along with his sister, from PAWS when they were kittens.  We soon found out they had Panleukapenia, which his sister did not recover from.

Twisty gets his name from the Cerebellum damage that the disease caused.  He is mentally sharp, but has a loose caboose!

This is Bubba!

We adopted him from a friend, to give Twisty some company after losing his sister.  Bubba, however, would rather be the only kitty in the house, and tends to be the bully because of it!

Update October 2010

Sadly, Bubba is no longer with us.  He was a good kitty with a big heart, and we miss him dearly.

 This is Ferny!

She was rescued from a plant nursery where my partner was working at the time.  When we found her, we already had our hands full with two kitties, but we couldn't leave her there with all the chemicals and extreme temperatures.  She was so angry at first, but now she thinks she's a princess.

Bubba and Ferny are a big part of our inspiration for starting a Pet-Sitting business, because they are both Diabetic, and require twice-daily Insulin injections.

Update...

We are happy to report that Ferny no longer requires insulin injections, as we are managing her Diabetes through her diet!
